The Official choir of the Church of Pentecost Youth ministry is finally set to release two
powerful tracks this Easter.
The group known as the Pentecost Youth Choir has been in existence for over ten years and has ministered at many great gatherings. After doing many covers and renditions of famous songs in the church, they are ready to give the world a feel of what their
audience enjoy from their ministrations on the 15 th April 2019.
The tracks titled, “Ye be tumi” and “Odo yi mu ye duru” have a youthful and contemporary feel but every age group can identify with them. “Ye be tumi” is a song that captures the five year theme of the Church of Pentecost; “Possessing the Nations” and the 2019 theme; “I will build my Church”.
It is a sweet medley of two old but powerful Pentecostal tunes with a chorus and Vamp that will leave hearers inspired to conquer the world and work for Jesus. It is arranged in a way that makes singing and ministration by choirs very easy.
There could not have been any better person to lead this song than the vocal bulldozer himself. The now, Overseer Emmanuel Boate of Bolgatanga PIWC and W’adi Nkunim fame applied his vintage self with his characteristic big notes and energetic adlibs to make this song a must listen.
“Odo yi mu ye duru” is a helpless proclamation of the depth of Christ’s love which led him off His throne of glory to die for mankind. Its message is apt for an Easter celebration which is not a time of mourning but of rejoicing and sharing about the love of God. It is a groovy song that Christians can rock to. Its lyrics are exciting and I dare say many a secular people can also identify with.
It also has an arrangement that will keep one on the edge from start to finish.
Mr. Edwin Abankwa is a promising musician with a refreshing sound. As one of the music
directors of the group, he got to put his feel on this one. Here is your official Easter groove song with a simple chorus you can rock to all year long.
Be blessed, ministered to and inspired as you go find these songs to listen to on Youtube,
