studyGospel icon , Yaw Sarpong and Asomafuo Band will be performing live for patients at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital on Friday .

The “Wo haw Ne Sen” hit maker will use the performance to raise funds to support some patients at Ghana’s premier hospital.

Speaking with Atinka FM’s AM Drive host Kwame Adinkra Wednesday , the Kumasi based gospel musician further explained the main aim of the Friday show is to exalt the Almighty God together with the patients through song ministration “for the sick to know that there is still hope for the hopeless and the situation they find themselves in now is not the end of the world”.

According to Mr. Sarpong, who has so many gospel hits to his credit, said he is a living testimony to God’s faithfulness , adding that he was also bed -ridden for almost a year and a half at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and that it was through song ministration that he gathered some hope that all was not yet lost.

He added that, his team will make some donations to the patients .

Yaw Sarpong disclosed that the programme will be graced by very high profile personalities including Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Chairman Elder Samuel Amoh Tobin.

Gospel artiste Nicholas Omane Acheampong and ace comedian Bishop Bob Okala will also entertain the sick.
