The new Electro-Voice X-Line Advance system will make its African debut with a series of demonstrations and training opportunities in Accra.
The event will take place at the beginning of November and will be hosted by the manufacturer’s local partner, Upswing Music Company (UMC).
The main event will take place on Saturday November 7th. Electro-Voice’s Tony Sawyer will lead the training and will demonstrate a full X-Line Advance system. The two days preceding this will see UMC engineers given demonstrations of X2 technology as well as hands-on rigging training and classroom EASE sessions.
Following the demonstration, there will be further classroom sessions on LAPS software, installed audio and basic acoustics scheduled for November 9th.
UMC engineers will be present at all of the events, and the company has also invited its rental and event customers, existing EV users, local churches and installation companies to the demo. Further to this, Electro-Voice’s distributors from Nigeria and Burkina Faso will also be present.
