Cwesi Oteng joins numerous celebrities like Socrate Safo, A-Plus, Lucky Mensah, Leo Mensah, Bibi Bright and others who have publicly shown their support for NPP and its flag bearer.
Though many have described the endorsements of political parties/flag bearers by celebrities as a very risky & inadvisable move, especially to those in the gospel industry, it is prudent to also understand that celebrities just like any other citizen have their rights to support/endorse any political party/flag bearer of their choice. This right mush be respected.
Some have claimed that such public moves are very likely to kill the careers of celebrities. However, whether actors or musicians, your love for them is not and should not be based on which political party they choose to support… Your love for them is for the work they do, the music, movies etc they produce and it is undoubtedly evident that these celebrities are matured enough to make their own decisions despite the possible consequences.
