Takoradi-based gospel musician, KODA says he is preparing feverishly for Ghana’s biggest gospel event, Airtel Adom Praiz.
According to him, performing on the platform alongside super spirit-filled international gospel music star and worship leader, Bishop Hezekiah Walker and his love worship choir is a plus to his music career.
“By God’s grace I would say that we are prepared. In fact we have prepared extensively. This is a very beautiful platform that God has given to us and I don’t take it for granted.”
He spoke in an interview with Black I on the Daybreak Hitz (Showbiz Review) on Hitz FM Monday.
He believes that being the only artiste from Takoradi among the Accra-based gospel musicians is a favour from God.
“Most of the other artistes, if am not wrong, are coming from Accra. So to be handpicked from Takoradi that can only be favour.”
The night will see performances from Ghana’s gospel greats Anita Afriyie, Joe Mettle, Selina Boateng, Alabaster Box and KODA himself.
He promised to release one of his new songs on his yet to be released album on the night as a surprise to patrons.
“We have a few songs we are working on towards our next album, so we are contemplating on dropping one of them there.”
The ‘Nkwa Boodo’ hit singer called on gospel lovers to come to the Perez Dome in their numbers to share intimate worship with the Holy Spirit.
