"Without God, none of this is possible" – Mayweather honors God

Retired American WBC/WBA multiple weights champion and world titlists, Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr., has attributed his success to God.

The 40year old undefeated world champion last Sunday having defeated the Irish, Conor McGregor, to achieve his 50-0 mark, tweeted that “Without God, none of this is possible. THANK YOU”.

Born Floyd Joy Sinclair, he is often referred to as the best defensive boxer in history, as well as being the most accurate puncher since the existence of CompuBox.

Mayweather, now a boxing promoter competed from 1996 to 2017, held 15 world titles in five weight classes and the lineal championship in four different weight classes (twice at welterweight), and retired with an undefeated record.

The 2 time world’s highest-paid athlete (2012 and 2013 respectively), last Sunday made an additional $300m from his fight against Conor McGregor which now gives him a record of 50 wins after 50 fights with 27 of those wins by knockout and 23 by decision.
