Superintendent of Police and gospel artiste, Kofi Sarpong, on Sunday night, arrested the excitement of all who witnessed his maiden concert with his musical powers at the National Theatre.

The concert dubbed; “SP Kofi Sarpong Live in Concert” goes down history as the first self staged concert by the King of African Borborbor.

The man of the night, served patrons with a pack of hit songs including; “African Borborbor”, “Ayeyi Nnwom”, “Adom Bi”, “Abotre”, “Agyenkwa”, and “Aseda” with interesting dance moves as desert.

In harmony, other artists within the gospel fraternity thronged on stage to show their support. Performances from Gifty Osei, Francis Amo, Cecy Twum, Niiella, KingzKid amomg others, gave the occasion a sensational touch.

The event was a collaboration between SP Kofi Sarpong’s record label cum management, Media Excel Productions and FootPrint TV. The event was targeted at promoting his brand and raising funds to support the registration of 5,000 children in some deprived areas for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
