Acclaimed as the the Biggest Gospel Comedy Night yet in Ghana, "OPEN HEART CHARITY CONCERT" is set to hit Accra come 7th December at the Tesano Baptist Church.
The OPEN HEART CHARITY CONCERT is anticipated to be an annual nationwide concert being organized by aConcepz ltd. This serves as the maiden event and is designed to support hospitals, towns, villages, disability schools and communities that are in need mainly through the funds or proceeds that are accrued from the events.
Speaking to Ebenezer Antwi - Executive Director at aConcepz, he said management in consultation seeks to come out each year with new methods in which these deprived institutions can be supported and which specific institutions are in dire need.
This year, aConcepz seeks to support "AwaaWaa2", a center in Accra that takes care of children with Communication Disorders (CD) as 70% of the proceeds will be channeled to the center and 30% will be used to organize the next event.
"aConcepz believes that giving is a way of life that has to be grown and challenged hence we take seriousness into the organization of all our concerts and events and therefore make participants leave our events with a sense of belonging to God Almighty" he said.
"We look forward to great event this year and have already started seeking sponsorships" he added.
The event is dubbed “Simply Worship” and starts at 4:00pm. It seeks to be a wonderful blend of Worship and Comedy as it features a host of great artistes including OJ, Cece Twum, Nyameba and Bismark Takyi; with Foster Romanus, Ajeezay the nonfa king and Khemikal representing to provide comic relief. It surely will be an awesome time in the house of God that can't be missed cos it absolutely free.
