TOP TEN EVENTS OF 2017

10. EXPLOSION OF JOY BY JOYFUL WAY INC.
I happen to be at the afternoon session and attendance was low as compared to last year. Technically, you could feel something is missing at that particular session. Rendition of old songs was the highlight of that event. Production was also good.
9. AGAPE CARNIVAL BY AKESSE BREMPONG
Akesse and his team hosted this year’s Agape Carnival at Kumasi City Mall. The program was delayed for 2 hours because of a heavy downpour 1hour to the event starting time..
After all was set, Akesse and his team did not disappoint the crowd who came in their numbers for the program. Patrons were obviously asking for more even when the show was over. For a Kumasi event, I find that the team did an excellent job with publicity and production which also reflected in attendance.
8. ASEDA KASE3 BY GOD FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT (PRAISE TV )
This event was simply “massive”. It was eventually turning into an all-night service. I left around 1:20am and it looked like I was the first to have left the venue. Francis Amo,Tagoe sisters and other Ministers who performed did not disappoint at all. The whole place was full with joy as patrons were serenaded with one hit after another. Production was so on point. It was a huge success.
7. ADOM PRAISE BY ADOM FM
Unlike previous years, this year’s Adom Praise was entertaining and successful. The program started in time as scheduled and closed in good time. Performance from Joe Mettle and Francis Adjei on that day will last long in the mind of many who were present.
Every artist was superb with his or her act at Adom Praise 2017. It is my hope that organizers will maintain this standard for the coming years.
6. HARVEST PRAISE 2017
Harvest Praise held at the usual venue; The Harvest Chapel Intentional is always known for excellence. In spite of the fact that Joe Mettle ended up becoming the main man for the night, the “Victory” hit maker did well by thoroughly engaging his audience.
The program was the best program any choir in Ghana hosted during the year.
5. GHANA @60 CONCERT AT PEREZ CHAPEL
This show was surrounded with controversy right from its publicity because of the decision to headline Don Moen and not a Ghanaian act. The show was heavily patronized by bigwigs from all walks of life. From Don Moen to Sonnie Badu to Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, the show was really a good climax for Ghana’s 60th anniversary
4. SP KOFI SARPONG LIVE IN CONCERT
It was a great show with Ama McBrown and other stars participating to bring the program to life. Production was one of the best and attendance was massive
3. AUGUST WORSHIP BY JESHURUN OKYERE
Great concert. Simply great.
Fully packed auditorium with chairs packed outside everypart of the venue. On the day, Makers House Chapel auditorium saw arguably its highest number of audience ever.
Ministrations were perfectly orchestrated and production was top-notch.
Keep it up JESHURUM and team
2. Tahilah by Ohemaa Mercy:
full house outside packed.. neat presentation by Ohemaa mercy and other ministers .. production was on point .. wonderful introduction by Ohemaa mercy.. but I will glad to hear that she has change the venue for next year event to a bigger place…
1. GOD OF MIRACLE LIVE RECORDING BY JOE METTLE
This is my best event for the year under review. This event was one of the biggest event in Ghana on both the secular and gospel events calendar. Joe Mettle and team had it all right. Great production, creative stage entry nice and a thrilling atmosphere created by the presence of great performers. Talking about great performers, well the legendary Yaw Sarpong was at his best with Akesse and Ohemaa Mercy completing the tall list of excellent performers. Tickets were completely sold out and patrons had to squeeze themselves into spaces to be part of the event.
