Multiple award winning UK based Ghanaian Gospel Minister and writer Sonnie Badu has promised to take care of hiplife turned Gospel artist Yaw Siki after a video of his touching interview with Joy New’s Mz Gee went viral on social media.
The Baba hit maker in a post on Instagram disclosed the decision by Yaw Siki born Isaac Okai to depart “from being circular artist to a preacher on the bus will not be easy” as there will be long suffering. He however assured him the decision to preach the word of God is the best and his (Sonny Badu) Ministry would love to sponsor him for the next few years.
In a post he said:
“I would like to meet this young man who has moved from being circular artist to a preacher on the bus .. I would like our ministry to sponsor him for the next few years .. It will not be easy with the decision you have made as there will be a long suffering, however we are hear to let you know that you made the right decision .. #yawsiki”
On Friday January 12 2016, Yaw Siki a former hiplife artist with with track ‘Wope Dodo’ disclosed in an interview life has not been easy after his decision to leave circular music and take up the job of preaching to the world.
He revealed close friends had deserted him because they do not share the same faith anymore.
