SAY WHAT? Anita Afriyie Calls News On Joyce Blessing’s Accident A Publicity Stunt

As many celebrated the Yuletide, terrible news broke on Christmas Day about Joyce Blessing that perhards altered the mood from celebration to sorrow.
The multiple award winning act and her team had been invloved in a ghastly accident in Nsawam while they were on their way to Kwahu in the Eastern Region for the ‘Bliss on the Hills’ festival.
The singer’s husband Dave Joy, who doubles as her manager was the one driving when the accident happened. Also in the vehicle at the time of the accident were a videographer and photographer.
The accident left the musician’s four-wheel drive badly mangled (as seen below) but praise be to God that they all survived miraculously and reports received pointed that she was responding to treatment.

Many friends, lovers and fans and industry players had taken to social media to wish Joyce well and speedy recovery; but that couldn’t be said about industry colleague, Anita Afriyie.
The ‘Adehye Mogya’ hit maker took to her Facebook wall to insinuate that the news was just a publicity stunt, calling it “Fake”.

“Eii Some Ghanaian Musicians and their fake news (emoticons)….God is watching all of You..mtcchewww”  she said.

Many expressed disappointment in her post and asked her to take it down of which she came defending with a second post saying

“Pls if you want me to delete it,then show us the evidence of she lying in on the hospital bed(emo) and the accident pictures of her”

We are not sure on exactly what informed Anita on such a position but either way, it is of bad taste to see such an aopen display for “rivalry” from her side.
Meanwhile Lawrence Nana Asimah Hanson (Bulldog), Head of Artiste Repertoire at Zylofon Media has said that Joyce Blessing is “responding to treatment” and she is “stable”.
He said the singer, who sustained some injuries at her back, is currently receiving treatment at a private medical facility in Accra.
He is hopeful she will be discharged from the facility soon.
The other team members who were with Joyce are also reported to be responding to treatment at the Nyaho Medical Centre in Accra.
