Sad News; Gospel Musician Comfort Annor passes on to glory

Ghanaian gospel singer, Comfort Annor has passed away after falling sick for some time now.

Welfare Officer of the Ashanti regional branch of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA), Reverend Talented confirmed this.

According to him, he saw the mortal remains of the veteran musician being wheeled away by nurses at the hospital but they did not allow him to see the body because he is not a family member. The musician died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) where she was receiving medical treatment.
Rev. Talented said they are yet to get in touch with the immediate family of Madam Annor for the necessary arrangement.
At the height of her ministry, Comfort Annor was one of the strongest and most respected gospel divas in the country.
Comfort Annor will be remembered for songs such as “Asaase Dah) Gyan” and “W’awo Me )ba”, “Abraham Sarah”, “Mewo Agyapade3”, “Hena Na W’aye” among others.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. We kindly ask all well-wishers to bear the family in their prayers and thoughts.
