Priscilla Nokuthula Mahamba

Priscilla Nokuthula Mahamba, born on the 22 July 1987,second daughter of Pastor J.M Mahamba and Mrs Mahamba. Began her ministry at church at an early age under the leadership of Pastor J.M Mahamba.
She went on to study music at East Rand School Of The Arts (ERSA)where her professional career began as a lead vocalist of the school band formally known as Jazz Pioneer.
As her career progessed she became a member of a group, The Child Is Born,under the leadership of artist Sizwe Mashinini,where she worked with popular South African gospel artists, Vicky Vilakazi and Avis Ndlovu.While working with the group she had an opportunity to share the stage with Kirk Franklin and many local gospel artists at the Macufe Festival in 2009.
Her experience at The Child Is Born lead to opportunities of working on several projects such as The Psalmist Network with local upcoming gospel artist aswell as Psalmist Collaboration with Joyous Celebration members Tebello and Nhlanhla.
Those projects created a platform to be a backing vocalist for the likes of Banele Mahlangu (Crown Gospel Award Winner) and Wandile Nkosi (Crown Gospel Award Winner) and many more.
Finally in 2012 she released her 1st album titled Jesu Msindisi,which is doing well to date.
