Piesie Esther explains why she invited a 'fetish priestess' to her album launch

A lot of controversy sprung out soon after songstress Piesie Esther launched her recent album; reason being that a popular fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa, was spotted there.
Piesie Esther who made a major comeback into the music business last year after a long break released an album not too long ago at Alisa Hotel in Accra, to announce her return.
During the album launch, which has “Agye Won Sem” as one of the hit songs, Nana Agradaa was spotted at the event and according to an eyewitness, the fetish priestess was seen sharing money at the event.
This sparked a huge debate of somewhat within the Christian community, as to how/why a fetish priestess  was at the event in the first place. Piesie Esther has since come out to explain.

She first of all confirmed that indeed she invited Nana Agradaa to her album launch and went ahead to make clear why that decision.

The “Me Nti Ase” hitmaker said that the popular priestess has been her friend for many years so she thought it wise to make a formal request for her to be at the album launch.
She added that the invitation she gave was not for her to attend the program to make/show any wonders.

“I called her because she is a person I’ve known for a very long time but not as a fetish priestess. She has been buying from my boutique at Darkuman so she has been my costumer. Even before she became fetish priestess, she was also my church member at pastor Apae Life’s Great Light Worship Centre.
Even aside knowing her for years, people like her who were Christians but left the Kingdom are the ones God says He wants so I don’t see anything wrong with her coming to the album launch.” Piesie Esther told KMJ on Hitz FM.

In a related story, Piesie Ester speaking on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana today also debunked rumors going round that she says she will quit music if she doesn’t win any award at the VGMAs.

“I don’t even know anything about what they claim i have said” she uttered
