The front line artist collective of Narrow Road Records, S.I Unit, welcomes new member to the crew making them a 6 man group.
Denzel Roberts, whose rap career begun immediately after high school with The Soul Tape Family, had his record deal with NRR facilitated by the record label’s Head AnR and Will Nation Producer, Sem who had this to say concerning the move: “One thing that drew my attention to the kid is his ability to compose ‘marketable’ flows. His stage craft ‘swag’ is contagious”
Speaking to Denzel Roberts on how he feels about joining S.I Unit, who have made tremendous impact in African Urban Gospel and Christian Hip hop since their inception in 2012, he said “I’m so happy about this signing and I’m grateful to God. It’s a big opportunity for me as an artiste and hopefully, pushes my career forward. ”
About his relationship with The Soul Tape Family after his NRR deal was sealed he said, “Soul Tape is still my family. I’m still with them through the sun and the storm. We’ve been there for each other since day one! This signing is just a personal decision to put my career on a certain pedestal. And it has come with a lot of prayers. Love One!”
S.I Unit is excited about the addition of a new brother and already have projects with the new kid on the block flowing through the pipelines.
