Well this imagination is a soon to be reality as the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) under the leadership of Bice Osei Kuffour (a.k.a Obour), launched an annual event dubbed “Musicians Time With God”.
The event will be a two-day evangelism crusade scheduled for October 1 and October 2, 2015 at the Winners Chapel, Ghana – Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

The event seeks to embrace all artistes to foster Unity among them and also cease the moment to appreciate God for all He’s done for MUSIGA throughout the year.
According to the President of the Union, Bice Osei Kuffour, the crusade is to offer a platform for both secular and gospel artistes to join their fans in appreciating the good things the Lord has done for them.
He added that the idea for the event is to showcase how much musicians love and appreciate God, an action that has the potential of winning souls for the Lord since many fans emulate the actions of their favorite stars who they perceive as role models.

The event will take form of a musical crusade which will include preaching, soul winning, prophetic and music ministration by some select artistes and seasoned men of God.
_MG_4958The Director of Gospel Music at MUSIGA, Rev Dr Thomas Yawson said the event is to show that all musicians who appreciate God are one regardless of the genre they sing.
In his view, a musician is a musician as long as they utilise their God given talent. He used the occasion to call for unity among musicians of various genres to enable them contribute meaningfully to national development.
_MG_4971Representing Bishop George Agyemang (Head Pastor of the Winners Chapel), Rev Oppong, commended MUSIGA’s leadership for such a gallant initiative and encouraged all musicians to rally behind this idea.
The event is set to have ministrations from men of God such as Bishop George Agyemang, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, Prophet Atsu Manasseh and Prophet Nana Yaw Obeng.
Also apart from music from popular gospel musicians on the day, the event will also feature musicians as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Kojo Antwi, Rex Omar, Becca, Stonebwoy, Samini and many more who will demonstrate their love for God.
_MG_4940Chairman for the event’s committee, Nii Okai said the Musicians Time With God is a wonderful initiative and also encouraged all musicians to support it.
