Mary Agyemang lashes out at gospel musicians living dishonest lifestyles

Change Over hitmaker, Mary Agyemang is of the notion that gospel musicians should not focus on gaining fame and cash from their ministration because that is not why God blessed them with their talent.
The singer in an interview with Nkosuohene said she is not into the music industry for any of the two – fame and cash but to win souls for Christ.
The old girl of Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS disclosed during the interview that everything she does as a musician is to make sure lost souls see the right way to heaven but not to rip people off their cash.
To her, the company she is currently working with pays her enough to cater for herself so she does not minister with the sole aim of making fortune. She questioned the essence of gospel musicians making properties on earth without going to heaven.
“I keep saying that I’m not in the music industry to make money or make fame. To God be the glory I was able to attend school and I now have a good job which pays very well. Money I used for all my properties are from the job I do. I can say music is just a bonus God has given to me.
I came into the gospel music industry because it is a gift God has given to me for free and a time will come that I will stand before Him and account for it.
What will gospel musicians who do not work to win souls for Christ account for when the time comes for them to tell God what they did for Him when they were on earth?” Mary Agyemang said.
