Celebrated Ghanaian gospel artiste and producer, Kofi Dua Anto (KODA), is out with a groovy praise single that is set to get listeners dancing for a long time.
The infectious single titled, ‘Hosanna’, is a synth and horns-laden danceable highlife tune laced with a confessional message of overcoming through Christ Jesus.
‘’Hosanna comes from of a heart of praise to Jesus, our Saviour. I think the message of believers being overcomers, because of the works Jesus did on earth, needs to be regularly echoed to empower or encourage believers. So many things get thrown at us in life but if we will focus on Jesus, we are sure to overcome because He has already won the victory we need in this life. It is my expectation that this song brings joy to hearts battling sorrow and disappointment, and empowerment to those in need of assurance,’’ KODA disclosed.

‘Hosanna’ adds to Koda’s repertoire of signature Highlife songs typical of the west side (Takoradi) brand of Highlife music considering the likes of ‘Guide Me O Jehovah’, ‘Nkwa Abodo’ and ‘Nsem Pii’ also released by the artiste. The groovy and horns-laden song was recorded live at KODA’s KODED Studios in Takoradi. ‘Hosanna’ is the first single off Koda’s upcoming ‘Asore’ album which is on schedule for release later this year.
It is set to be danceable radio hit as it is already getting great reception from fans and the #HosannaChallenge beginning to trend on social media where many have recorded videos of themselves singing, dancing to and playing (instrument) the song.
