Discovered something this week from my quiet time. Just thought I should share.
The Story of Cain and Abel
Abel brought carefully selected stuff, the Fruits of his labour: he brought the best of his flock. Cain did not bring his best.
Now the truth is God doesn’t take delight in “Okay” Stuff.
The dude can’t sing but he is in the choir / praise team! No! It’s wrong! it’s either he gets better or join another ministry or sit in the congregation. The Pulpit is not a music school or a ‘trial and error’ place. He can’t lead people to worship if he is always flattening.
The PA / Instruments aren’t good…ermmm….at least we can hear something..NO!!
You keep playing Do, Re, Mi…. You can’t make time to even practice but want to play every Sunday! My friend, you for check yourself!! God is not happy!
You transpose, spend more hours on whatsapp, Twitter and facebook rather than spending time to practice, research and pray!
Mr. Gospel Event Organiser, God doesn’t deserve that stage, those lights, the bad sound!! Check yourself! That soundcheck must happen a day before!
You appear at church after Praise and Worship every sunday. My friend, sleep at home and worship with a radio broadcast.
You spend more than Gh¢5 on Airtime everyday but 1ghana cedi offering on sundays…. oh Chale!! See your life, you dey laugh… lol
Hmmm, God deserves the best ok. Please let us work at it.Don’t give just anything. The Father deserves the best. God bless you.
