Premiering Of  the ‘MULLY’ Movie on DTV

DTV is also on its return to FTA, premiering Mully. The movie which since its release, has showed at several film festivals across the world and won over 20 international awards, tells the story of a six-year old Kenyan boy abandoned by his family and left to raise himself on the streets.
MULLY is no ordinary rags-to-riches tale. It’s the true story of Charles Mully, whose unlikely stratospheric rise to wealth and power leaves him questioning his own existence, searching for meaning in life.
Against the better judgment of family and community, MULLY sets out to enrich the fate of orphaned children across Kenya. Jeopardizing his own life and security of his family, Charles Mully risks everything in motion a series of events that is nothing short of astonishing.
Dr. Mully spent his youth as a street child eventually working his way up through menial jobs to start his own company in the 1970’s. The company, MullyWays Agencies, a transport company, allowed him to gain much wealth and become a millionaire. However, in 1989, he would sell his businesses and property to start the Mully Children’s Family (MCF).

MCF is a Christian based organization with mandate of helping less fortunate and vulnerable children in society by providing them with shelter and allowing them to obtain an education. MCF helps them develop themselves and build lives of dignity.
Each Year MCF becomes a home and a hope to street children, orphans, abandoned, abused, HIV & AIDS affected and infected, desperate and neglected children regardless of their religion, sex, color or tribe, who have nowhere to call home and no one to care for them. We then provide them with food, shelter, clothing, education, medical care, spiritual guidance, mentorship and – most importantly – parental love. That is why this place is called Mully Children’s Family. A FAMILY denotes a place where people live together with love, peace and hope.
