Few weeks back, it was all over the waves and all social media platforms – Celebration of Faithfulness in honor of one legend in the gospel in industry; Minister Danny Nettey, mostly referred to as the “grand papa” of contemporary gospel music in Ghana.
After thirty years of service to the gospel industry, blessing the hearts of many throughout the boundaries of Ghana and across the globe, KC Entertainment and FootPrint TV spearheaded by Fifi Folson and Madonna Aso, thought it wise to celebrate this great legend of our time on their annual “CELEBRATION” events dubbed ‘Celebration of Faithfulness’ this year.
The event by all standards was such a great success.
Slated on the 17th May 2015 at National theatre – Accra, the event officially started 45 minutes past 4pm after verification of tickets and audience trooped in to humbly take their seats.
The event started with a praise session which lightened up the whole auditorium and got all who were present geared for the celebration of the legend.
“Nii ooo Nii”, as he is called, took a turn on stage to welcome audience and make them more comfortable with a short spot of stand-up comedy. After a rib cracking session with him all was set to zoom in to the main event.
The event saw great ministers in the likes of Nii Okai, Pastor Helen Yawson, Eugene Zuta, Esaias, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto(KODA) , Next Generation Gospel ministers ( Francis Amo, Jeshurun Okyere, Akesse Brempong, Nat Abby, Danny Tabi, Pastor Dzifa, Joe Mettle, Kaysi Owusu ), KingzKid and a host of many others who came honoring the legend ministration songs written by Minister Danny Nettey. Also in the honoring train was one on Ghana’s finest keyboardist, Isaac Aryee (who has had a long time experience with Danny Nettey) came honoring with his fingers on the keys. He took a few minutes to share a testimony about Danny and how impactful he (Danny) had been to his life and ministry.
Another blend to the event was a “handmade portrait” by Patrick accompanied with a sweet poetic delivery by beautiful Owusuwaa. The artwork was later auctioned by Pastor Randy Abossey.
The next fold of the event which was to support Danny Nettey’s school project, was duly launched by Mr. Albert Ocran, an international motivational speaker, author, co- founder of Combert Impressions and lead consultant of Legacy & Legacy.
The honor due Minister Danny Nettey was worth it because the turn up got the auditorium fully packed, depicting clearly that Danny Nettey is INDEED a Legend.
MC for the event, Fifi Folson could not hide his excitement and appreciation after the event as he sent this message across,

Personally, I would say, the organizers (KC Entertainment & Footprint TV) did their very best; publicity plan adopted worked well, audience were overwhelming, PK and the crew exhibited a creative stage art & lights and finally PL Crew with Overflow Incorporated displayed explicitly.
